Biography
Dr. Reza Shadnam is a science manager at R&D incentive group, a technology, development, and research consulting practice within the KPMG. He is in contact with technical side of tens of companies in his current position. His research areas are micro/nano surface science/engineering and mechanical and mathematical dynamics and stability. He has completed a Ph.D. in the Surface Engineering and Instrumentation Laboratory at the National Institute of Nanotechnology. He has also received a Ph.D. degree in Structural Engineering (Structural Dynamics) from Sharif University of Technology in 2002. He has presented in relevant conferences and he has reviewed manuscripts for 19 journals, e.g. Journal of Physics, International Journal of Mechanics of Solids, Nanotechnology, Journal of Mechanical Engineering & Technology and Applied Mathematical Modelling. He has contributed over 30 peer reviewed technical publications, 35+ (invited) talks and panel discussions to professional & technical communities, e.g. CSME, CAP, APS, ACS, etc. He has taught in University of Alberta, Sharif University of Technology, IUST and NODET. He is currently a member in Board of Directors of Knowledge Diffusion Network" a nonprofit organization registered in Canada that aims to promote collaboration of academics and scientific/technologic community through organizing talks for professionals traveling to places other than their place of residence.
